ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ken was born in 1946. He grew up drawing and painting what he was accustomed to seeing and what interested him. This usually involved horses and the people surrounding them. This led to portraits of working cowboys and Native Americans. This was a natural transition because of his father's love of riding and raising cattle and his mother's Choctaw Indian roots. After decades of national recognition and awards, he settled in Santa Fe, N.M. to continue expressing his love and respect of the people shown in his work.
